The “Inauguration of Solar System Development & Energy Audit Training” program was organized to officially launch a series of training initiatives under a project supported by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The program aims to develop knowledge and practical skills in solar power system development and energy auditing among students, teachers, and professionals.

The training includes two major components: Solar System Planning, Design, Installation and Maintenance, and Energy Audit. The solar training consists of multiple modules covering topics such as the fundamentals of photovoltaic (PV) systems, PV system design and engineering, simulation, installation, and operation and maintenance. The Energy Audit training focuses on the introduction to energy auditing, auditing methodologies, plant utilities, and project financing.

The training sessions will be conducted through both online and physical modes, with laboratory facilities prepared for hands-on practical learning. A total of 10 batches will be trained, each consisting of around 20 participants, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and practical exposure. The initiative aims to enhance technical capacity in renewable energy and energy management, supporting the development of skilled professionals in the sustainable energy sector.
