The National University, Bangladesh delegation visited Daffodil International University to strengthen collaboration on the Just Energy Transition initiative and promote sustainable energy practices across higher education institutions.

The visit aimed to explore opportunities for academic partnership, renewable energy integration, and capacity development in solar energy systems. Discussions focused on advancing campus-based solar solutions under an innovative OPEX model, improving energy efficiency, and reducing dependency on conventional grid electricity.

During the meeting, both institutions emphasized the importance of joint research, technical training for students, and knowledge sharing in renewable energy technologies. Special attention was given to scaling up solar energy adoption in universities and developing smart energy management systems to ensure cost-effective and sustainable operations.

This collaboration marks a significant step toward building a greener and more energy-resilient academic ecosystem in Bangladesh, aligned with the national vision of a just and sustainable energy future.
