The program was organized as a strategic engagement between Sena Kalyan Sangstha and Daffodil International University to strengthen industry-academia collaboration in the fields of renewable energy, environmental sustainability, and applied research. The visit was led by senior officials from SKS, who engaged in productive discussions with DIU faculty and researchers on potential joint initiatives.

Key areas of discussion included the role of solar energy in addressing Bangladesh’s growing energy demand, strategies for waterbody and wetland conservation, and innovative technological solutions such as the Web-Based Model for Energy System Monitoring (WM-ESM). The delegation also explored DIU’s ongoing research and infrastructure development in the renewable energy sector.

As part of the visit, the guests toured the Solar Electricity Research Lab & Training Center and observed the rooftop solar installation, which is progressing toward a 3.5 MW capacity. The program highlighted DIU’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and impactful research that contributes to national development and a greener future.
